If you have a computer that is connected to the Internet, you have to have some anti-virus software and a firewall running at all times. If you don’t, you are just asking for remove spyware quake trouble. The other day my husband found a virus on our computer that was made to capture our keystrokes.
That means that someone might find out all of the passwords that I put into the many sites I visit each day. Luckily for us, even though our anti-virus failed, our firewall did not. This convinced my husband that the McAfee Internet Security Suite that we had on our computer was not enough. We needed something more.
That is not that that McAfee Internet Security Suite is not good. We got this through our provider, and we think it works just fine. The problem is that it did not catch this particular virus, and that is something that can happen with any software. My husband uses the desktop now, and I have my own computer, and he was never good about allowing the McAfee Internet Security Suite updates to come through our firewall.
