Making Presentations: Avoid Blank Backgrounds
Filed Under Business :: Presentation | Leave a Comment
When you take a test, you don't leave the name line blank. The same goes for PowerPoint backgrounds. A white background in a PowerPoint presentation is considered a bad idea. It will make the speaker seem lazy and uncreative. Don't let this happen to you when you are making a good Powerpoint presentation.
If you don't want to go too crazy, you can always choose a solid color for the background. This isn't hard and a cream color is always better than white.
For a more creative look, you can always look through the different templates available to use. There are many different styles and colors to choose from.
The bottom line is that any color is preferable to a blank background.
